Once again this year, as an official partner of Rock am Ring, we are live on-site at the Nürburgring, bringing you impressions and updates throughout the entire festival—straight from the stages, the vibes on the grounds, and right from the heart of the pit. If you don't want to miss a single update all day long, just check out our Insta Stories via @impericonde—our socials team is throwing themselves right into the thick of it for you!
Day 1 at the Ring: Headliner for 2027 Announced
Barely after arriving at the Nürburgring, there was already a massive revelation for the next festival edition. In 2027, Blink-182 will be taking the stage at Rock am Ring for the very first time and are pretty much guaranteed to deliver an insane show. We still have two festival days ahead of us and are already hyped for next year:
You can secure your tickets for 2027 starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 12 PM (CET) on rock-am-ring.com!

Confetti, Helis & Live Emotions
From the very first to the last note across the three stages, the atmosphere at the Ring was spectacular, as expected. Loathe opened the festival on the Mandora Stage, while Mehnersmoos immediately tore the place down on the Utopia Stage—and we've got the pictures to prove it.

By the time We Came As Romans took the stage, the crowdsurfers had well and truly warmed up, and they didn't let up throughout the entire day's lineup. We've gathered some great snapshots of you guys (we see you...):

On top of that, Jacoby Shaddix made a grand entrance by flying in via helicopter, making a powerful first impression for their set. Of course, we also sneaked a peek at the stage during Architects, our upcoming Impericon Festival headliner...

Anyone who wasn't completely exhausted by then still had plenty of energy left for the first night's festival headliners. Babymetal more than lived up to their reputation, delivering one fierce performance after another. Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox even joined them on stage for a live feature on their collaborative track "My Queen," and the crowd was treated to fan favorites ranging from "Gimme Chocolate!!" to "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!".
What else is there left to say about Linkin Park? Emily Armstrong, Mike Shinoda, and company brought all their biggest hits—"The Emptiness Machine," "What I've Done," "Numb," the whole package. Leaving nothing left to be desired.

The grand finale was delivered late into the night by Limp Bizkit and The Butcher Sisters, completely tearing the house down with live bangers like "Break Stuff." Now it's time to rest while we can, before Day 2 hits hard with Bad Omens, Electric Callboy, and Volbeat.
