Slipknot Merch at Impericon: Masks, Chaos and Nu Metal Vibes
Looking for controlled chaos? No problem for Slipknot. Since the late 1990s, the band from Iowa has heavily shaped the Nu Metal genre and remains one of its most influential acts, especially for younger bands. Their music is unmistakable — just like the band’s visual identity. The group performs live exclusively in masks and adapts their stage outfits with every album cycle. Visual aesthetics have always played a huge role in Slipknot’s identity. The members’ iconic masks are individually designed, giving each musician a personal visual signature. You can express yourself in the same way with official Slipknot merch by choosing the designs you identify with most from our collection.
The designs in our Slipknot merchandise range feature iconic elements from the band’s more than 30-year career: the legendary member masks, the famous “S” logo, the Nonagram star and graphic motifs from albums and music videos. These symbols have become inseparably connected with the band and are instantly recognizable within the scene and among fans.
Our Slipknot merch is heavily inspired by the band’s visual identity. Dark tones such as black, grey and red dominate the color palette and are combined with bold, high-contrast prints.
Iconic Designs with Unmistakable Band References
In our collection, you’ll find Slipknot T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, longsleeves and selected accessories. Many pieces feature large front and back prints with intense illustrations. If you prefer a more subtle look, you’ll also find minimalist logo and typography designs.
Many designs directly reference album eras or tour visuals. Whether you love the self-titled record or Iowa, are a fan of All Hope Is Gone, or The End, So Far is your favorite release — you’ll find the perfect piece for your style.
Classic band-photo designs are also part of the collection, often showing the masked members posing together. That way, people instantly know what kind of music you represent.
The merch can easily be integrated into different styles. Whether you’re heading to a show or building an everyday outfit, you can combine the pieces with jeans, cargo pants or dark streetwear essentials to create your own individual look.
Slipknot: One of the Most Influential Nu Metal Bands of the Last Decades
Slipknot are among the absolute giants of their genre. Alongside bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit, they helped define Nu Metal shortly after forming in 1995. Although the band from Iowa has gone through several lineup changes over the years, they never lost their musical identity — quite the opposite. Even today, they continue to influence younger acts in the scene. Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Paleface Swiss or Motionless In White have all cited Slipknot as a major influence. Vended (which includes sons of Slipknot members), Cane Hill and Tetrarch also show strong similarities to the signature sound of the Iowa-based band.
Their 1999 self-titled debut album was a massive breakthrough in heavy music. Together with its successor Iowa (2001), it is considered not only a milestone for the band but for the entire Nu Metal genre. Both records became the band’s most commercially successful releases and received multiple international certifications.
The combination of brutal heaviness, unconventional song structures and an intense stage presence quickly turned Slipknot into one of the most spectacular live bands in the scene.
Later releases such as Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) (2004), All Hope Is Gone (2008) and We Are Not Your Kind (2019) showcased different sides of the band’s sound and received mixed reactions from both fans and critics. The End, So Far (2022) became the final Slipknot album released through Roadrunner Records.
Even though only percussionist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan remains from the original lineup, several long-time members have contributed to nearly every album, including vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarists Mick Thomson and Jim Root, as well as turntablist Sid Wilson.
Two tragic deaths deeply impacted the band’s history. Bassist Paul Gray passed away in 2010 while still active in the band. The album .5: The Gray Chapter (2014) was dedicated to him. Drummer Joey Jordison passed away in 2021 after having played a crucial role in shaping the band’s early sound.
The members, especially vocalist Corey Taylor, are also popular guest musicians and pursue additional projects outside the band. Besides his solo career, members like “Clown” and Michael 'Tortilla Man' Pfaff are also involved in Dirty Little Rabbits.
Slipknot are equally famous for their stage presence. While their early performances felt chaotic and unpredictable, today’s productions are highly technical and carefully designed. Their first major appearances included performances at Ozzfest. Today, they host their own festival, Knotfest, which has already taken place internationally. Alongside sold-out headline tours, Slipknot regularly top the bill at major festivals worldwide.
Buying Guide: How to Find the Right Slipknot Merch for You
Our Slipknot merch is especially suited for fans of iconic band-driven designs. If you want to make a bold statement, T-shirts or hoodies featuring mask artwork or the Nonagram symbol are a great choice.
For a more subtle look, styles with classic band logos or reduced typography work especially well. Particularly with large artwork prints, it’s worth paying attention to the size and placement of the graphics, since bold designs stand out best on dark fabrics.
Before buying, think about whether your piece should work better as a concert outfit or as part of an everyday metal-inspired streetwear look.
Materials and Fit
Our T-shirts are made from high-quality cotton fabrics that feel comfortable and maintain their shape even with frequent wear. The prints are durable and retain their color intensity over time.
Hoodies and sweatshirts offer a comfortable, slightly relaxed fit and are ideal for colder days or layered outfits. Most items feature a unisex cut. T-shirts fit true to size, while hoodies generally have a looser fit. If you prefer an oversized metal-inspired look, simply choose one size up. Longsleeves are especially suitable for transitional weather or as an extra layer under jackets.
