When (In Hearts Wake) released their second album Earthwalker in May 2014, they knew that it was time to step it up - not just musically, but also in terms of spreading their message and putting their money where their mouth is.
As the lyrics on ‘Mother’, Earthwalker’s closing track, explain; “Earthwalkers: you are a part of the Earth and the Earth is a part of you. The blood that courses through your veins is like the sap that courses through the trees. When the Earth in your bones returns to the ground, perhaps then you will remember that this land does not belong to you – it is you who belongs to this land.” As much a belief system as they are a band, Byron Bay’s In Hearts Wake have been making waves worldwide with their inspirational and invigorating Metalcore. 2015 will see them reaching new heights as they take their ambitious mission to the next level - don’t get left behind.
