The names of the founders of DC make clear, which route this brand is taking; Ken Block, successful rally-driver, and Damon Way, brother of the famous skateboarder Danny Way. Together they established a label that creates shoes and other clothing for extreme sports, skateboarding and snowboarding with great success since 1993. They also sponsor several pro-teams that are absolute world-class in their sport and represent the level DC is playing on! Since 2004 the brand belongs to Quiksilver and sells its products large-scale. With collections like DC Life they also increased their variety as there are influences from music, art and fashion to be found.
