They’re back at it again: Metallica have returned to Europe, bringing their “M72 World Tour” with them, including several of their legendary No Repeat Weekends. They kicked off the tour in Athens on Saturday, supported by Gojira and Knocked Loose. For the No Repeat Weekends in Germany, Hungary, Ireland, and England, Pantera and Avatar will be joining the line-up instead. You can find the full setlist from the first night of the tour, as well as a list of all upcoming dates, below.

Setlist from May 9, 2026, in Athens

A set packed with classics—at least for the tour kick-off, Metallica didn’t focus heavily on their latest album 72 Seasons, but rather on their self-titled Black Album, featuring all the iconic tracks from “Enter Sandman” to “The Unforgiven.” Additionally, Ride The Lightning (1984) was properly honored, alongside a powerful sweep through their discography from ...And Justice For All to Reload—the latter of which is actually about to be released as a Remastered Edition (pre-order here).

Please note: The setlist may vary from show to show.
