Brit Awards 2026 Nominations: Sleep Token and Turnstile in the Running

The nominations for this year’s Brit Awards are out – Sleep Token and Turnstile are included for the first time.

The 2026 Brit Awards will take place on February 28 in Manchester, UK, and the nominations for British as well as international artists and bands have just been announced. Sleep Token are nominated for “Group of the Year,” while Turnstile have been nominated for “International Group of the Year” – both bands have the opportunity to win a Brit Award for the first time.

BRIT Awards Committee Chair Stacey Tang particularly highlights the diversity of this year’s nominations:

“I think this list is a powerful demonstration of how vibrant and varied music is right now, with artists across different genres and generations reflecting music that is both commercially successful and has lasting cultural impact. At its core, the BRIT Awards exists to celebrate creativity, and these nominations set the stage for an exciting and memorable night.”
