When anger and incomprehension prevail against an established establishment and the mood in society shifts, it's time to get uncomfortable. In 1992 Los Angeles, a vent was needed, consisting of Rock, Funk, Rap, Metal, and Punk. With their self-titled debut album, Rage Against The Machine set standards and sparked a revolution. The four Californians Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk hit the nail on the head with Rage Against The Machine and never missed it again.
The groundbreaking quartet made themselves immortal in a unique way that is rarely seen. They are clearly to be mentioned in the same breath as System Of A Down, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Nirvana. So much authentic, aggressive musical energy brought out everything that heated up people's minds at the time. This made songs like "Killing in the Name", "Bombtrack", or "Know Your Enemy" timeless to this day. They repeatedly struck the right chord with their lyrics about societal conditions. These tones were first heard on a tape in 1992, which immediately brought them a deal with Sony. After 9 years of ups and downs in their band history and already three studio albums released, De La Rocha left. The end of the band for a while.
Eventful Band History
