Whose youth wasn’t shaped by these guys? The trio Blink-182 have been performing the finest pop punk since 1992 and deservedly occupy the throne of this genre with bands like Sum41 or Simple Plan. Songs like “What’s My Age Again”, “All the Small Things”, “First Date” or “I Miss You” are still played at every rock party. Albums like ENEMA OF THE STATE, TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS AND JACKET or BLINK-182 are still incredibly popular and a milestone in pop punk music. 

But something changed in the line-up of the band in 2015. Since then, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have been on the road as a trio without Tom DeLonge, but with Matt Skiba.

What happened in the time without Tom?

In late April 2016, Blink-182 released “Bored To Death”, the first track from their album CALIFORNIA. This song already showed: The band may have lost a founding member, but not the typical Blink sound. In 2019 their album ENEMA OF THE STATE, which is the band’s most successful album with 15 million sales, turned 20 years old. The band also announced their upcoming album NINE.

After a seven-year break: Tom DeLonge returns to Blink-182

Fans have been wondering for a long time: Is Tom DeLonge’s separation final? Or is it just a break? Since October 2022 we finally have an answer. There is an official reunion and Tom is back in the game! This message literally blew up the internet and the anticipation of the fans could not be overlooked.

And the news of the reunion wasn't the only good message. The band released their new single “Edging” to celebrate their comeback. As if that wasn’t enough, we got the confirmation that we can look forward to a new album soon. Last but not least, a mega tour was announced: The big world tour will take about one year and of course Blink-182 will also make several stops in Europe.
