Lorna Shore - A rising star in deathcore heaven

Lorna Shore are among the hottest and hippest representatives of their genre right now. Formed in New Jersey in 2010, they released several EPs prior to the release of their debut album PSALMS in 2015. During the last years the band experienced a particular boom.

With their longplayer IMMORTAL, released in 2020, the group took a big step in their musical career. The technical demands of Whitechapel and the uncompromisingly brutal heaviness of Thy Art Is Murder are combined and provided with atmospheric and melodic approaches. With this album, Lorna Shore managed to play their way out of the underground - now they’re one of the biggest names in Deathcore.

Breakthrough with new singer Will Ramos

In 2019 the band experienced a huge shock: allegations of abuse and openly expressed racism against singer CJ McCreery were made. The band responded promptly and parted ways with their frontman. 

In 2021, singer Will Ramos joined the band. The first song Lorna Shore released with Ramos was “To The Hellfire” - an overly heavy deathcore song which was instantly loved by their fans and metal community. It quickly rose to number 1 in Apple Music Charts and proved that many people are still looking for up and coming bands in the genre.

With … AND I RETURN TO NOTHINGNESS, Lorna Shore released their first EP with Will Ramos in summer 2021. Fans literally clamored for the vinyls and almost a year later it’s still one of the most popular deathcore releases of the last years.

In autumn 2022, Lorna Shore finally followed up with their new record PAIN REMAINS. The new masterpiece from the world of deathcore is a banger again and shouldn't be missing from your record collection!
