Over The Seven Seas

Founded in 2004 in Perth, Scotland, Alestorm have stormed the stages of the world. Originally sailing under the name "Battleheart," their niche was clear from the start: Pirate Metal. The band members around frontman Christopher Bowes (vocals and keytar) excel at intertwining traditional metal elements with Folk melodies and mischievous lyrics. Their musical odyssey is marked by albums like Captain Morgan's Revenge (2008) and Curse of the Crystal Coconut (2020), which have led them on numerous tours around the globe. Each album tells a new story. Chart successes are not rare for them, for example with No Grave But The Sea from 2017, which reached number 14 on the German album charts. Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum from 2022 climbed the highest so far, maintaining the number 7 spot on the German charts for two weeks! Their success looks similar in Austria and Switzerland, and they have also achieved initial successes in the UK.
