Recently, we asked you in our Instagram post: What is the best album of 2025? Now we’re giving you the breakdown of your comments (as of Dec 11, only comments counted). As you may have already noticed yourselves, the first place is very clear, while the race for second and third place was extremely close…
1st Place: Sleep Token – Even In Arcadia
Sleep Token’s new studio album clearly won you over. Even In Arcadia was released in May 2025 and dominated the majority of your comments without close competition. The hype after Take Me Back To Eden is obviously still going strong. Which makes us all the more excited to hear what Vessel and the rest of the band will come up with next after two such successful albums.

2nd Place: Landmvrks – The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been
The new Landmvrks record also received tons of attention in your comments and secured a very tight second place. The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been was eagerly anticipated long before its release. We’re beyond excited to welcome the band back at Impericon Festival 2026 next year, this time as one of the headliners!

3rd Place: Lorna Shore – I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me
After Pain Remains, it seems that not only we were ready for the follow-up, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. Lorna Shore came in just behind Landmvrks, earning the bronze medal in your comment-based ranking. Congratulations!

Of course, you also mentioned plenty of other acts who released powerful albums this year. Among them:
