It may still be the middle of winter, but we are so ready for festival season, especially for our Impericon Festival 2026 this summer. To keep not only the anticipation high but also the experience during the festival weekend, we’ve put together a little behavior and festival survival guide for you.

In the crowd & on the festival grounds: Respect is key
No matter where you feel most comfortable…
- in the front row
- in the middle of the mosh pit
- in the stands
- somewhere in between
…the rule is always the same: Look after yourself and look after each other. Watch out for crowd surfers and lost shoes, help one another, and if it ever gets too much — step out of the crowd and grab some fresh air.
As always: Treat each other with respect. Don’t be that person…
Safety first: If you need help, talk to our on-site team or security!
Quick reminder: The crowd gets tight — shoulder to shoulder and sometimes with more physical contact than planned. Going shirtless doesn’t just affect you, but everyone around you. We’ve got a solid solution: Hit the merch stands beforehand and grab a fresh shirt from Impericon Festival or one of the bands on the lineup!

Sun, hydration & food!
We love a good strawberry punch! But don’t forget to give your body some water too, for maximum mosh pit stamina and minimum visits from the medics.
Feeling low on energy? There are plenty of food options available, including vegetarian and vegan choices. Don’t wait until you feel woozy to grab a snack.
Even though our indoor festival in HALLE:EINS at Leipziger Messe can handle any weather, it can still get very hot or rainy in the outdoor area. So don’t skip your poncho, sunglasses, and sun protection.

Meeting points: Get loud, but not lost!
There’s a lot going on at a festival — drinks here, conversations there. In your friend group, it’s smart to set a meeting point on the festival grounds in case you suddenly lose track of each other. And for your phone battery, a power bank (fanny-pack size max.) is highly recommended.

Hygiene check
Real talk: Summer festivals mean sun, sweat, and lots of people in one place. Staying fresh is team effort. When we’re all packed together in front of the stage, the only thing knocking us out should be the music.
Don’t forget to bring...
Let’s recap:
- Festival tickets (get them here!)
- Cash/card
- The power bank mentioned above (max. fanny-pack size)
- Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/cap)
- Poncho/rain jacket
- Festival essentials like hand sanitizer, tissues, fanny pack, ear protection, etc.
- Maybe records, shirts, or similar items for signing sessions (info coming soon!)
- Good vibes!
Use the cloakroom: you can drop off jackets and backpacks there. Lockers for this year are still being confirmed.

Explore the whole festival!
There’s much more than just the stage program! Don’t miss the signing sessions (info coming soon!) and other festival attractions, from booths to entertainment.
