If one band has shaped nu-metal, it is undoubtedly Korn. The band centered around frontman Jonathan Davis is considered a pioneer of music from what is arguably the most famous crossover genre. Since the early 90s, the group from California has stood for a dark, emotional sound that continues to influence generations of younger bands and musicians to this day. The style of the band members has also always been iconic, shaping the official band merch in our shop.
The designs incorporate typical elements from the band's universe, including the unmistakable Korn logo with the reversed “R.” You will also find dark illustrations or motifs from various album phases, allowing you to show with these pieces how long you’ve been a fan of the group.
Color-wise, dark tones like black, gray, or red clearly dominate, often combined with high-contrast prints that catch the eye. This results in pieces that reflect the powerful character of the music.
The designs rely heavily on their striking visual identity. In particular, the iconic band logo appears in many variations and is one of the most recognizable symbols of the nu-metal era. Whether as a large front or back print, on the sleeves, or integrated into a larger illustration: when you wear Korn merch, everyone knows which band you love.
In our extensive range, you will find Korn T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, longsleeves, and various accessories.
In addition to the band logo, references to albums or songs are also featured. You will find elements from classics like “Freak On A Leash,” “Untouchables,” or albums like Follow The Leader and Issues.
If you want to wear more than just the iconic logo, you can also choose between illustrations that are as catchy as they are slightly disturbing. In any case, they are an eye-catcher, especially at concerts or at the skate park.
Korn was formed in the early 90s in Bakersfield, California, and is among the most important bands in nu-metal. Korn's debut album from 1994 is considered the birth of nu-metal. The sound, which was novel at the time, combined heavy guitar riffs with hip-hop influences and emotional lyrics for the first time. Then, as now, the voice of frontman Jonathan Davis stands in the foreground.
Until their second studio album Life Is Peachy (1996), Korn's sound was not even labeled with the term nu-metal. They were categorized more as alternative metal and described as a new generation of heavy music, alongside Deftones, for example. To this day, Jonathan Davis says he did not like the term nu-metal when it slowly became mainstream in the mid-1990s, because in his eyes, it wasn't “new metal” the band was playing, but rather they were simply combining various influences.
The big breakthrough followed with Follow The Leader (1998) and Issues (1999), which made the band's style known worldwide. The record broke through the mainstream charts and catapulted Korn to the very top. The albums produced songs like “Freak on a Leash,” “Got the Life,” or “Falling Away From Me,” which quickly became classics for that generation and are still considered milestones for the group today. These records remain the Californians' most commercially successful releases to date.
Over the years, the sound evolved, increasingly integrating electronic elements as well as alternative influences. Albums like Untouchables (2002), The Serenity Of Suffering (2016), or Requiem (2022) show how versatile the band continues to work even after decades.
With millions of albums sold, worldwide tours, and their influence on numerous later metal and alternative bands, Korn is now considered one of the most defining musical acts in modern metal history. Many young bands cite the group as a major influence.
Unlike other bands that have existed for just as long, such as Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park, Korn has been traveling with a stable lineup for a long time. In addition to frontman Jonathan Davis, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer is also part of the founding line-up. They have been active in their current lineup as a quartet since 2021.
Korn merch is particularly suitable for fans of nu-metal, alternative metal, and classic 90s metal style. If you want to make a clear scene statement, shirts or hoodies with the iconic band logo are a safe choice.
For a slightly more subtle look, minimalist designs or variants with smaller prints are an option. Especially with artwork motifs, it's worth taking a look at the size and placement of the print, as large illustrations are particularly effective on dark textiles. Therefore, before purchasing, consider whether you want to wear your piece primarily at concerts or if it should function as part of a casual everyday look.
The T-shirts are made of high-quality cotton fabrics that are comfortable to wear and maintain their shape even after frequent washing—perfect for sweaty shows and mosh pit action. The prints are implemented to be durable and retain their color intensity over a long time.
Hoodies and sweatshirts offer a comfortable, slightly loose fit and are suitable for cooler days or layering looks, for example at festivals. Most items have a unisex cut. T-shirts usually fit true to size, while hoodies generally have a more relaxed fit. If you prefer a wider nu-metal or streetwear fit, you can easily go up a size. Longsleeves are particularly good for transitional periods or as additional layers under jackets.
