With Ghost, music and visual identity go hand in hand like with hardly any other band. Since their early days in Sweden, the band led by mastermind Tobias Forge have combined classic heavy metal and hard rock with catchy melodies, dark symbolism and a healthy dose of theatricality. Add changing characters such as Papa Emeritus and Cardinal Copia, each giving their respective era its own character. With Opus Eponymous, Meliora, Prequelle, Impera and most recently Skeletá, Ghost have continued to evolve their musical style without ever losing their distinctive identity.
