Das von Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Oceans Of Slumber) remasterte Album enthält eine Bonus-CD mit zahlreichen zusätzlichen Titeln (16 Songs / 71 Minuten) und erscheint zu einem entscheidenden Zeitpunkt, da auch alle Veröffentlichungen von Edge of Sanity und Nightingale wieder über Century Media Records erhältlich sind. „Moontower“ zeigt Swanö von seiner kreativsten Seite und ist eine Art Hommage an den „Death Metal von 1972“. Das Album enthält wegweisende Titel wie „Sun of the Night”, „Uncreation”, „Add Reality” und „In Empty Phrases”, die zu Swanös besten Werken zählen. Seine Gitarren brummen, Keyboards wirbeln und der Gesang wirkt einschüchternd, während die Texte introspektiv sind. Die längst überfällige Neuauflage von Moontower ist als limitierte 2CD (8 Albumtitel auf CD1 und 16 Bonustitel auf CD2) mit O-Card und als 180g-LP (8 Titel) auf transparent-hellblauem Vinyl erhältlich.
