With the My Hero Academia manga having concluded and Season 7 now fully aired, there’s already exciting news. Season 8 of the anime has been officially announced by Shonen Jump in issue 465! Although an exact date has yet to be set, it is expected to release in 2025 – likely in the summer or fall.

The announcement brings a bittersweet feeling, as while fans can look forward to new anime episodes, it is indeed the final season, meaning we’ll soon have to say goodbye to yet another of our generation's greatest anime series, following the conclusions of Attack on Titan and the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
