Knocked Loose is set to release their new album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To on May 10, 2024. We’ve already heard a few singles from the album, including “Blinding Faith” and “Don’t Reach For Me”. Yesterday, however, another single named “Suffocate” dropped, featuring American alternative/pop singer Poppy.
Just this January, Poppy featured on the Bad Omens song "V.A.N." and subsequently toured with them. It seems the singer is now truly making her mark in the core scene. She herself is a fan of the music:
“I’m a huge fan of Knocked Loose and feel honored to be a part of this.”
Isaac Hale, guitarist for Knocked Loose, also speaks very positively about the collaboration:
“It was so much fun because her voice allowed us to expand our spectrum and do some weird, wild things that we might not have done in another song. We felt that Poppy's participation enabled us to push the boundaries of what we thought was possible.”
