This year’s Game Awards will be presented on December 11, 2025, during another major live show at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The nominations in 29 categories are already set, and you now have the chance to vote for your personal Game of the Year, Best Performance, and all other categories. There's also the 100% fan-decided “Player’s Voice” category, where you can choose between 30 nominations: those candidates will be revealed on December 1.

To The Nominations
Now let’s finally take a look at the nominated games, actors, and developers.
The list of highlights is long, but a few titles appear over and over again from start to finish. Among them is the RPG "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33", released in April, which has been nominated no fewer than nine times, including in the “Game of the Year” category. Three actors were nominated for “Best Performance” for their roles in this game: Jennifer English (known from Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, Wuthering Waves), Ben Starr (known from Final Fantasy XVI, A Way Out, Hades II) and Charlie Cox (known from films such as "Spider-Man: No Way Home").
Other titles with multiple nominations include "Ghost of Yotei", "Death Stranding 2", and "Battlefield 6".
The Community Support winner of last year could secure this award again: "Baldur’s Gate 3" is nominated once more, alongside titles such as "Final Fantasy XIV" and "Fortnite".
The “Best Adaptation” award could go to "A Minecraft Movie" this year, featuring Jack Black, Jason Momoa and Emma Myers, the second season of the live-action series "The Last of Us", or the animated adaptation of "Devil May Cry".
When it comes to the most anticipated games, it’s no surprise that titles like "GTA 6", "The Witcher 4", and "Resident Evil: Requiem" are among the frontrunners — but on December 11 we can look forward to a ton of new information about upcoming releases!
