The entire band had just finished touring across Europe together, but it’s now clear that this lineup won’t be returning in the same form anytime soon. Arch Enemy have officially split with their longtime singer Alissa White-Gluz and released a brief statement wishing her well:

“Arch Enemy have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We’re thankful for the time and music we’ve shared and wish her all the best. Wherever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026.”

Exact reasons for the split or potential successors for the vocal position have not yet been revealed. However, Alissa White-Gluz has also shared her own statement:

“After 12 years in Arch Enemy, we have parted ways. I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way.
Thank you, Beastlings!
I can’t wait to share what I have been working on with you all (with some big surprises in store).
Stay tuned for big news in 2026 and see you very soon.

It definitely sounds like both Arch Enemy and their former frontwoman plan to continue musically in 2026. We’re curious to see what announcements and new material the coming year will bring!

New Solo Project by Alissa White-Gluz

The news have barely been out and we've already gotten a brand new song by Alissa White-Gluz. The solo single is called "The Room Where She Died". And we can look forward to more heavy solo music from her - the singer has already announced an upcoming solo album. Plus, this is what she says about the first single:

"The Room Where She Died" is a song that feels truly satisfying to me; like I get to express myself in so many ways that have been dormant for years. This upcoming album is diverse; and I love the idea of opening up this new chapter with this song and video, which I wrote the script for."
