In 2015, the band suffered a serious bus accident in which members were severely injured. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk lost his leg after ten days in a coma. Their bus driver passed away as a result of the accident.

After a long period of silence, they returned in 2019 with initial studio activity. The story of The Ghost Inside has become one of the most moving comeback narratives in the scene.

With the self-titled album The Ghost Inside (2020), the band made a powerful return and played worldwide comeback shows. The songs on the album tell stories of strength and loss alike and remain a special experience live.
