The crossover genre takes a new turn with the band Rise of the Northstar, founded in Paris in 2008. Unlike P.O.D and Limp Bizkit, their sound incorporates not only elements of Hip Hop and Groove Metal but also cultural aspects. Influenced by Eastern culture, lead singer Vithia, along with guitarists Air-One and Eva-B, bassist Fabulous Fab, and drummer Phantom, creates a unique universe blending Japanese manga themes with groovy Metal riffs.
With their mix of Metalcore, New School Hardcore, Rap, and their love for Japanese culture, the guys show us what crossover truly is.
