In the late 70s, Glenn Danzig heavily influenced the (Horror) Punk movement with the Misfits, but believe it or not this doesn't remain his most successful project! After the Misfits disbanded back in 1983, he then went on to form the band Danzig, which was of course still was greatly influenced by his love for demons and black magic. One year after the formation, their first self titled record Danzig (1988) was released, they were able to tour with bands like Metallica. On this record you'll find the most successful Danzig song 'Mother', that you may already know from video games like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas or Guitar Hero. Despite many line up changes over the years and despite the fact that Glenn Danzig is now over 60 years old, the band is still active.
