Classic Rock Merchandise – Let there be Rock

Classic Rock will forever hold a place of honor in the hearts of all music fans. The bands of that era laid the important groundwork for all rock and metal genres. And even if many of us didn't get to experience the golden age of Classic Rock, we still have the chance to thank the bands of the past for what they achieved. One thing is clear: without them, the musical landscape today would look very different.

    The History of Classic Rock

The period between 1965 and 1975 is considered a magical era of exploration. People were eager to discover and experience new things. This is also reflected in the music of many artists of the time. They began to shed their tame image and explore new musical paths. The Beatles are considered one of the first bands to break away from the previously simple song structures and incorporate experimental influences into their sound. With the Rolling Stones, another band rose to the top of the music business within a few years. Between 1965 and 1972, they produced a total of five albums. Works like AFTERMATH, LET IT BLEED, and STICKY FINGERS are now considered some of the best Classic Rock albums of all time. The Who from London stood out with their particularly aggressive style of rock music for the time and also achieved worldwide success. The LPs TOMMY and QUADROPHENIA went down in history as some of the first rock operas. Other very successful Classic Rock bands from England include Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Queen, and Led Zeppelin. But America also produced numerous influential Classic Rock bands, such as Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Eagles, ZZ Top, and The Doors, whose diverse music styles influenced generations of musicians. Another legendary Classic Rock band comes from Australia. Of course, we're talking about AC/DC, who have shaped music history like few other groups and made Hard Rock mainstream.
