When it comes to the genres of Melodic- and Post-Hardcore, one band that cannot be overlooked is Being As An Ocean. The Californian group, led by frontman Joel Quartuccio, was formed in 2011 and signed a label contract with the independent label InVogue Records just a year later. With their debut album Dear G-d..., Being As An Ocean reached number 27 on the Billboard charts and, riding this wave, played their first European tours in 2013. Back then, bands like Capsize, For The Fallen Dreams, and Senses Fail were part of the lineup. Since 2017, the group has been touring with their third album Waiting For The Moment To Come and headlined the 2018 European Impericon Never Say Die! Tour, accompanied by Northlane, Alazka, Casey, and Polar.
