Formed in 2019, Sleep Theory are currently one of the scene’s most relevant band projects. The group, which initially began as a solo project by singer Cullen Moore, comes from Memphis and will celebrate their debut at the Impericon Festival this year. Their current European headliner tour is almost completely sold out — including all dates in Germany. We’re already excited to be part of this journey, so we’re taking the time to introduce the band here!
Fresh Debut Album From 2025
First, Sleep Theory released their EP Paper Hearts in 2023, immediately finding a home in core-scene playlists. Since the release year, the lineup has included guitarist Daniel Pruitt, drummer Ben Pruitt, and bassist Paolo Vergana alongside singer Cullen Moore. The most popular tracks from the EP clearly include "Numb" and the opener "Fallout" — best to give them a listen yourself:
In May 2025, they followed up with a strong release in the form of their debut album Afterglow. They now have over 2.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and the new record has contributed significantly to that growth. The band have also already picked up their first awards: the Heavy Music Awards 2025 honored Sleep Theory with the “International Breakthrough Artist” award.
Why? The band combines their modern alternative sound with core elements and electronic parts that fans of big names like Bring Me The Horizon will definitely appreciate. The result is endless singalong moments, plus plenty of headbang and moshpit potential. And that’s exactly the energy we’re already looking forward to for their show at the Leipzig Trade Fair!
Current tour with The Pretty Wild in Europe
There’s also something to celebrate in 2026, as Sleep Theory are on their first headliner tour here in Europe, with support from The Pretty Wild — who will also perform at the Impericon Festival 2026. Tonight’s show takes place in Hamburg, followed by Berlin tomorrow. We’ve already shared the full tour setlist here. So get ready for an energetic show this summer — you’ll find the details below!
