Linkin Park clearly don't just have their concert film “Unshatter”, which hits theaters tomorrow, on their schedule. Alongside the creation of the concert movie featuring footage from São Paulo, the band has apparently been back in creative mode for a while now. In an interview, DJ Joe Hahn spoke about how the band was together in the recording studio both during and after their tour to work on new music:
“Yeah, because we really enjoy being around each other, and we especially love the creation side of things and making music. When we were touring in different cities, if there was a day off, we would go into studios just to tinker around with stuff. And when we finished touring, we decided to take a month off because we needed a break, but then we jumped right back into the studio.”
He also confirmed that fans can expect another full album – albeit with a laugh:
“Oh, yeah… and it’s going to be really slow and boring, and very polarising to everyone.”
Their comeback album From Zero was released in November 2024 and will soon be celebrating its second anniversary. New music is therefore more than welcome – but first, it's time to head to the cinema: You can still grab the last remaining tickets right now.
