Movie Preview 2025: First Episodes of Season 3

Even before the actual release of Season 3 starts in Japan, fans can get a first impression of the continuation in theaters. Yūji Itadori and Yūta Okkotsu are returning to the big screen – but this time, we see the two fighting against each other…

On November 7, 2025, a new compilation film titled JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution will be released in Japanese theaters. It not only includes the Shibuya Incident arc, but also episodes 1 and 2 of the third season. Exact dates for theaters worldwide will be announced soon!

The actual release of Season 3 (at least part 1 of it) from Mappa will then follow in January 2026 on Japanese television, but also in simulcast on Crunchyroll. So we need to be a little more patient – especially those of us who haven’t read the manga – but the next dates are now in sight. The only question left is whether we are ready for it (pretty sure we’re not).
