Imminence aren't just releasing an album – this time, they're taking things a step further. The band is bringing their first movie to theaters. While their new musical work Axis Mundi arrives on October 2, 2026, the feature film will screen in selected cities and theaters that same week starting September 29 – though unfortunately not in Germany as of yet. In Europe, screenings are exclusively limited to London, Manchester, and Amsterdam. Naturally, we're hoping for a release beyond the silver screen down the line!

The Concept Behind It?
According to guitarist Harald Barrett, the idea for a movie came about as follows:
“Someone told us: ‘You’re such a cinematic band, you should take it to the next step and make a movie.’ You can’t just say that to a band like Imminence.”
As for the story, much like its musical foundation of the same name, the film follows the tale of an immortal knight wandering through a dark world on a seemingly endless quest for death.
