It’s about time that Ice Nine Kills finally release a full-fledged horror movie of their own. So it’s great news that the script for their film project, “The Slashin’ Of The Christ,” is now complete. As the title suggests, it will be a slasher film. The release date is still completely unknown, but according to singer Spencer Charnas, Ice Nine Kills are already reaching out to film studios.

In an interview with Metal Hammer, he says about the movie:

“Like everything we do, there’s horror, there’s violence, but there’s a wink to the camera. We’re not taking ourselves too seriously, and I think the world needs a movie like this.”

Some familiar faces from other horror films might also appear, as Spencer comments on the question:

“I certainly hope so. And who’s to say who will live and who will die?”

After all, Ice Nine Kills have quite a few projects in the horror industry under their belt and could likely call on some contacts. Most recently, they contributed to the soundtrack of Terrifier 3” and held their horror convention “Silver Scream Con” in Europe for the first time. Additionally, a collaboration with Scream 7” is currently in the works: Ghostface himself even called during their concert in London the night before the convention.

The next Silver Scream Con in 2026 has already been announced for the USA. Whether there will be another date in England remains to be seen.
