And then the announcement suddenly arrived: Die Toten Hosen, one of the biggest punk rock acts from Germany, will release just one more studio album — and it’s coming in 2026. More precisely, this spring at the end of May. The final record Trink aus, wir müssen gehen! + bonus album Alles Muss Raus! is set for release on May 29, 2026.
The band explains themselves how the decision came about and what the bonus album is all about:
“With ‘Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!’ + bonus album ‘Alles Muss Raus!’, the circle closes almost 45 years after Die Toten Hosen were founded in 1982: it will be our last regular studio album.
Someone shouted in the rehearsal room, ‘Let’s make one last album!’ No idea who it actually was, but the excitement was huge. We then decided together to go all out one more time and give it everything we’ve got. So from loud to quiet — and beyond — we’re firing on the full range you’ve come to expect from us.
The new songs are complemented by the bonus album ‘Alles Muss Raus!’: as a gift for us and for you, we recorded another 25 songs together with colleagues and friends who are important to us or close to our hearts.”
The double album is available for pre-order now as a digipak 2CD, classic black vinyl, and limited orange colored vinyl.
