During our time at Impericon Festival 2025, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates and guitarist Ed Hartwell from Bury Tomorrow took on our Shot or Not interview! Even before their powerful Friday set, the two had to answer a whole range of questions about each other. Topics included their favorite music genres, the TV show “Don’t Tell The Bride” – and even the Bury Tomorrow track they themselves rate the lowest…

Bury Tomorrow on “Don’t Tell The Bride”

Would Bury Tomorrow tracks play at your wedding? Davyd definitely has a unique story about the British show “Don’t Tell The Bride.”

Ed: "What's My Least Favorite Own Song?"

Davyd: "Your least ... what, across all...?"

Ed: "Everyone's least favorite."

Davyd: "What, 'Relief'?"

Ed: "No, the other one. ... Searching for..."

Davyd: "'Divine Breath'! No! If I could remove one song from history, one song completely through time and space, it would be 'Divine Breath'. I'm sorry if any of you watching, your favorite song is 'Divine Breath'. You probably do need to go see a doctor cause there's something wrong with you."

Ed: "Someone probably got married to it. You've ruined their wedding day."

Davyd: "Do you know what? There's a show in England called "Don't Tell The Bride", yeah, it's a really good show. [...] So, it's a show where basically, the groom has to go and organize the entire wedding, organize everything, and then the bride just turns up on the day, and he's either done really well or he's f*** up completely. There was a guy on there that got married and walked down the aisle to "These Woods Aren't Save For Us" by Bury Tomorrow. [...] And he's a tattoo artist. And he tattooed on me #don'ttellthebride, on one of my legs."
