Yesterday, Bring Me The Horizon once again shared the tour dates for their The Third Ascension Program, adding the note:

“the final NeX GEn shows.”

Well, that likely signals the impending end of the band's current era surrounding the release of POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, giving fans a very real reason to grab tickets in time for the eight dates in Canada and the single date in Michigan, USA, as the concerts kick off as early as this weekend. And the lineup is certainly nothing to sneeze at either, featuring Motionless In White and The Plot In You as support.

All dates right here:

  • Sep 20 – Vancouver, BC
  • Sep 23 – Edmonton, AB
  • Sep 24 – Calgary, AB
  • Sep 26 – Winnipeg, MB
  • Sep 30 – Quebec City, QC
  • Oct 02 – Ottawa, ON
  • Oct 03 – Hamilton, ON
  • Oct 06 – London, ON
  • Oct 08 – Grand Rapids, Michigan

What Does This Mean for the Future of Bring Me The Horizon?

A New Era on the Horizon?

Back in 2024, there was talk of BMTH taking a break. But you couldn't really call the past two years a break, as there's always something happening around Oli Sykes & Co. – live shows, a new concert film L.I.V.E. In São Paulo, gaming collabs, founding a live production company, and re-recording and releasing their debut as Count Your Blessings | Repented, complete with the new track “Dehumanized”…

With the NeX GEn era now drawing to a close, one can only assume after all of this that the next wave of creative input won't be far behind. Perhaps not a full record immediately – but it's entirely possible that, much like the lead-up to POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, singles will trickle out every now and then. The studio album arrived in May 2024, meaning it already has two years under its belt. Still, the band has certainly earned a break, which would also make total sense given Oli Sykes' growing family.

Whatever comes next, we'll be keeping a close eye on it either way. Stay tuned with us!
