In autumn 2010 bassist Kyle Fasel was not happy anymore about the music which he played and thus he spoke with his friend Dave Knox about forming a band. A year later the band Real Friends released their debut EP and played their first shows. After a few tweaks, they later released the EP EVERYONE THAT DRAGGED YOU HERE and it was then that the popularity of the band rose rapidly.
Shows with the likes of The Wonder Years and a spot on the Vans Warped Tour followed. Signing with Fearless Records in 2013, Real Friends put out the new release MAYBE THIS PLACE IS THE SAME AND WE'RE JUST CHANGING (2014) which sold more than 10,000 units. With the follow-up two years later THE HOME INSIDE MY HEAD, by this time the band were already cemented in many people's heads. For the pop punk fans out there, we've got all the Real Friends merch your heart desires.
