One of the newest trends within the Gothic scene is the Nu Goth fashion trend. In modern goth, tradition is mixed with new elements that are also established in the rest of the fashion world. That’s why you’ll find high waisted shorts, large round hats or crop tops in accurate Nu Goth looks. Maybe you also know the fashion trend as Hipster Goth. 

There are no direct limitations to any particular genre of music or style of clothing. This is a central part of the Nu Goth scene, because it’s more about personal self-discovery.
