This year's festival in Hockenheim, originally scheduled for June 23 to 24, has unfortunately been cancelled despite extensive efforts to make it happen.

Download Germany, the German version of the renowned Download Festival from England, was initiated in 2022. According to the festival operator, organizational problems and obstacles that could not be overcome by the deadline are to blame for this year’s cancellation, exacerbated by the large number of open-air events taking place this year. The lineup was already set and certainly looked promising!

What Happens to the Tickets?
