Crystal Lake only released their new album The Weight Of Sound in January, and now vocalist John Robert Centorrino is leaving the band. However, this is happening without any bad blood and is completely mutual, which is always good to hear.
The band posted an extensive statement on Instagram shedding light on the reasons behind the split. Simply put, Centorrino has decided to spend more time with his family following the birth of his son, as family life could no longer be reconciled with the demanding band schedule and long distances.
As for the successor on the microphone for Crystal Lake, the band has not yet found a permanent replacement, but things are moving forward nonetheless:
We wish Centorrino all the best for his future path and are equally excited for the new era of Crystal Lake.
