Linkin Park have created too many legendary songs not to be covered left and right. Here are some truly powerful cover versions we want to highlight!

Linkin Park's first albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora, already delivered so many classics that countless musicians felt compelled to create their own cover versions. But the Minutes to Midnight tracklist is just as popular. After the death of Chester Bennington in 2017, many artists expressed their tribute to the singer through their own renditions. Today we’re presenting ten of the strongest covers that have emerged around the legacy of Linkin Park!

Electric Callboy – Crawling (Acoustic Cover)

A very recent cover was released in 2025: with their acoustic version of the raw cult song “Crawling”, Electric Callboy showed a more serious side of themselves than fans are used to. You can watch their video clip here:

Trash Boat – Given Up

Trash Boat covered one of Linkin Park’s most demanding tracks: “Given Up.” Especially Chester’s long scream in the song has always commanded respect. See how Trash Boat perform it here:

Halocene – The Catalyst

Alongside covers like “Chop Suey” by System of a Down, Halocene also reinterpreted “New Divide” and “The Catalyst” by Linkin Park. The mix of Addie Nicole’s raw yet emotional vocals paired with Bradley Amick’s supporting voice makes this one a true goosebump moment:

The Used – Shadow of the Day

The Used have even performed their cover of the ballad “Shadow of the Day” live. An emotional tribute to Chester Bennington.

Dayseeker – Crawling

Dayseeker’s take on “Crawling” sounds completely different. With their EP Dreaming Is Sinking // Waking Is Rising (Reimagined) the band released several covers and reimagined versions of their own songs.

Ateez (Hongjoong) – Numb

Linkin Park meets K-Pop: Hongjoong, leader, songwriter, and rapper of the famous South Korean group Ateez, gave “Numb” a completely new twist – including Korean lyric parts. A music video was released as well:

Andy Cizek – Given Up (Vocal Cover)

With his vocal cover of “Given Up”, Andy Cizek absolutely won over Linkin Park fans on YouTube. See for yourself here:

Jonathan Young & Travis Carte – Bleed It Out

Here comes full-on metalcore energy with a new version of the Minutes to Midnight track “Bleed It Out.”

Radio Tapok – Numb

This one comes from Russia: “Numb” in the version by Radio Tapok is sung in Russian. Check out the music video here:

Periphery – Shadow of the Day

We’re closing with the ballad “Shadow of the Day”, this time recorded by metal band Periphery as a tribute to Chester Bennington. Turn it up loud one more time:
