As fans know, Heaven Shall Burn were forced to cut their Rock am Ring set short after just one song. Frontman Marcus Bischoff had been struggling with an unexpected infection, and during his recovery, vocalist Britta Görtz stepped in to handle vocal duties at the band's recent shows - and she's been welcomed so warmly by the community! Now, there’s good news about Marcus' recovery.
Back on the Mic: Marcus Bischoff Returns
Last night, Heaven Shall Burn shared a story on their official Instagram account showing Marcus back on the mic in the rehearsal room, full of energy. That’s seems to be a strong sign of what’s to come – especially with their official record release show for the new album Heimat happening tomorrow at Impericon Festival 2025!
More intimate record release club shows across Germany will follow, with support from bands chosen through HSB’s latest band contest. We’re keeping our fingers crossed to see Marcus fully recovered on stage – and things are looking promising!
