With 50 new acts added in one go, even more highlights have now been announced for this year’s festival. At Wacken Open Air 2026, the already confirmed headliners Def Leppard, Judas Priest, and Powerwolf will take the stage, alongside numerous highlights — from Arch Enemy in their new lineup featuring Lauren Hart, to Sepultura performing their final concert in Germany, the DJ set Electric Bassboy with members of Electric Callboy, as well as acts ranging from Hatebreed and Thrown to fast-rising scene newcomers President.

With the latest update, more than 50 additional bands have joined the lineup, adding even more depth to the poster. Newly confirmed acts now include Of Mice & Men, Fit For An Autopsy, Kadavar, and Unzucht, among others.

From the creator of the Holy Ground, Thomas Jensen, comes the following statement:

“The mix of established bands, scene icons, and emerging artists reflects exactly what Wacken has stood for for more than three decades.”

Co-founder Holger Hübner adds:

“The anniversary edition of W:O:A will showcase the full diversity of our favorite music, and we’re very grateful that we’ll be able to welcome our metal community to Wacken for the 35th time this summer!”
