President had already announced the new track “Angel Wings” for last night, and now we’ve been able to hear what they sound like on their first single since the debut EP King Of Terrors, which was only released in September 2025.
The still-young masked band is clearly not standing still — their first release was an immediate strong start on last year’s festival lineups, accompanied by a rapidly growing fanbase and their first European headliner tour in early 2026. They also toured as support for scene heavyweights like Bad Omens and Architects. With their first EP in the discography, the upward trajectory continues into the new year.
New Era in 2026
With the release of the new single “Angel Wings,” President have now officially ushered in a new era for the band. There are no concrete hints of a debut album yet, but every caption and the current newsletter state:
“One year on, a new term begins.”
In the new music video, the band also includes the quote:
“Some people wear masks to hide;
others to be free.”

Likely a nod to why the band chose to remain masked rather than appear openly, thereby creating President’s distinctive aesthetic.
