After much speculation, it's now official. Keanu Reeves (known for Matrix and John Wick) will voice Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic's major rival alongside Dr. Eggman, in Sonic The Hedgehog 3.

Who Is Shadow?

Shadow The Hedgehog, as the name suggests, is a dark reflection of the titular hero Sonic. His most distinct differences from Sonic are his black fur and more robust physique. Shadow made his debut in 2001 in "Sonic Adventure 2" on the Sega Dreamcast and quickly became a formidable opponent for Sonic. Unlike traditional villains, Shadow positions himself more as an antihero. In 2005, he was even given his own game, "Shadow The Hedgehog," which delves deeper into the shadows of his past.

What We Know So Far:

In Sonic The Hedgehog 3, alongside Shadow, whose appearance was already teased in the mid-credit scene of the predecessor, Jim Carrey will surprisingly return as Dr. Eggman. However, we can only speculate about other plot lines at this point since only a teaser has been released so far. We expect to see Sonic The Hedgehog 3 in cinemas by the end of December.
