A short while ago, an incident involving technical death metal band Vitriol made the rounds, leaving the band with significantly fewer members. According to their own statements, all former members dropped their vocalist off at a gas station after repeated fits of rage and then quit the band; they now intend to make music together under a different name. In a post on Instagram, Health picked up the incident as a joke and wrote:

"Metal band Health considering abandoning bassist at a gas station.
'He's f***cking around and will find out."

In the aftermath, several statements were made by vocalist Rasmussen in various videos, as well as by his former bandmates, including guitarist Keith Merrow.
