Looking ahead to the Impericon Festival 2026, we can’t wait to experience the new Rise Against songs from their latest album Ricochet live. However, guitarist Zach Blair also shared a few older favorites in an interview with us. Who knows — maybe we’ll get one of these on the setlist alongside “Savior”?
Zach Blair’s Top Three Rise Against Songs
Zach: "I mean I have to say "Savior", because it's definitely by far our biggest song. Everywhere, no matter where we play, we play that everybody knows. It's joy playing music when you get that kind of reaction. It's palpable, it's instantaneous.
I kinda like the deeper cuts sometimes, from our older stuff. I love The Black Market record that we did, and there's a B Side on that album called "Escape Artists", I love that song. Which is a B Side, you know, it got reissued on the record.
But also there's a song on Revolutions Per Minute that's called "To The Core" we've played maybe once. [...] And it's just a classic kind of Hardcore song, the realm of Sick Of It All or something, it's just really good. I like to hear Tim scream, you know what I mean.
However - actually, I'm gonna recant everything I just said: On Appeal To Reason there's a song called "Whereabouts Unknown" and there's like a moment in that song or just - it doesn't sound like Dio to anyone else, but to me it sounds like Dio and I love it."
