Looking back at their live album The Black Parade Is Dead! from 2008, which My Chemical Romance also released as a live DVD, you'd have to say today: “The Black Parade is NOT dead!”. Twenty years later, the cult band surrounding singer Gerard Way is bringing their near-legendary 2006 album The Black Parade back to the stage, right here in Europe. Numerous stadium concerts have been announced across Europe—predominantly in the UK—for summer 2026. And so you can get your playlist perfectly set up beforehand, let's take a look at which songs we might actually expect. All the way down is our potential MCR setlist, after some speculation and visiting their recent setlists.

Potential MCR Setlist 2026

There's no question about it—if it says The Black Parade, you're getting The Black Parade. MCR proved that a long time ago. They've already played the album in its entirety live, not just before their 2013 breakup, but also following their 2019 comeback. Just recently in mid-May, they tore through the whole thing in the US from “The End.” to “Famous Last Words”—including, of course, “Blood” from the tape.

But will they stop there? We don't think so. Just like during their recent festival appearances, they will surely have at least a few encores ready for the upcoming concerts. Their biggest hits from the remaining albums in their discography will take center stage. “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” simply cannot be missed. “Helena” also is and remains a classic with strong chances for the concert finale, as seen at the Sonic Temple and Welcome To Rockville festivals. The live anthem “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” from Danger Days, which is soon to be released as a deluxe edition, was also part of the mix.

And MCR will likely have another surprise or two up their sleeves—on the current run of shows, they recently played the track “Vampire Money” for the first time, whereas shortly before that, “Boy Division” from Number One occupied that slot. During the previous leg of the tour, they even followed up the full Black Parade set with a second set containing eleven additional songs, though apart from the staple classics, these were always rotated. Among them were anthems like “SING,” their newest track “The Foundations Of Decay,” and even various debut tracks like “Vampires Will Never Hurt You” and “Skylines and Turnstiles.”

On top of that, opera singer Clarice Jensen was on tour for the performance of “Mama” and her song “Metastable.” If she joins them in Europe as well, this song should definitely be on the list.

So, we are putting together a possible setlist—though it seems like when it comes to Set 2, anything is possible.
