What the metal world has felt like it’s been waiting for forever has now been officially announced: Metallica will play a total of eight concerts this fall at the Sphere in Las Vegas, once again featuring double-features — as always with no-repeat setlists. Accordingly, there will be both two-night and single-night tickets available, depending on whether fans want to attend both shows or just one.

All Las Vegas Sphere dates

Here’s an overview of the concert dates:

  • October 1 & 3
  • October 15 & 17
  • October 22 & 24
  • October 29 & 31

Tickets: pre-sales and general on-sale

Naturally, there will also be various pre-sales, including the Legacy Member Presale for members, the Fifth Member Pre-Sale, the Fan Club Pre-Sale, the Ticketmaster Artist Pre-Sale, the Live Nation Pre-Sale, the Sphere Pre-Sale, and more. There will also be different ticket options and packages, for example the Travel Package — for this package, the general on-sale already starts tomorrow, February 27.

The general on-sale for concert tickets begins on March 6. Different times apply for different show dates, so it’s recommended to decide on your preferred dates in advance and then check the corresponding pre-sale and on-sale times.

Times, tickets, and access to the fan club as well as pre-sale codes are available via Metallica’s official website, metallica.com.

With this major announcement and the first details now out, planning this year’s Las Vegas trip can begin right away — good luck in the ticket rush.
