Today’s Easter egg search focuses on scene bands popping up in TV shows and movies - sometimes in obvious ways, sometimes more hidden. If you missed Part 1, which covers Easter eggs in rock and metal songs, check it out here. But now, let’s dive in!
Aenimus: “Terrifier 2”
“Terrifier 2” is packed with posters and artwork from metal bands, including Aenimus. According to singer Seth Stone, a company called Little Punk People handled the room decor, which is why posters from Nuclear Blast and Metal Blade artists made it in. The band didn’t even know until the first official stills were released and they were tagged.

Harms Way, Power Trip: “The Bear”
Band shirts are also making their way into shows like the drama “The Bear.” Neil Fak clearly has good taste in music - his wardrobe includes shirts from Harm’s Way and Power Trip.

He Is Legend: “Scream 5”
In 2022’s “Scream 5,” there’s a poster in the background that eagle-eyed fans might spot. It features artwork for He Is Legend, but the poster was never officially released. A friend of vocalist Schuylar Croom worked as a set designer and created the poster using the band’s logo exclusively for the movie.

Avenged Sevenfold, Thrice: “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”
The sitcom “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is set in an Irish bar called Paddy’s Pub. Look closely and you’ll spot stickers from metal and core bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Thrice decorating the set.

Escape The Fate, Four Year Strong: “Jennifer’s Body”
If you’ve seen the 2009 movie “Jennifer’s Body,” you couldn’t miss the abundance of band posters. Escape The Fate and Four Year Strong are among them - alongside Fall Out Boy, The Gallows, and many others!

All Shall Perish, Dr. Acula, Suicide Silence: “Logan”
Even in Marvel’s gritty 2017 hit “Logan,” a heavy music fan made sure to sneak in some favorites. In Nate’s room - seen in a scene with Laura - posters for Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish, and Dr. Acula are clearly visible to those paying attention.
