Gone in a flash as always—another festival weekend at the Nürburgring is in the books. Rock am Ring 2026, it was absolutely insane! Check out our live impressions from the afternoon through to the night below.

Pyro Party to Close Out the Festival

We kicked off the day with Black Veil Brides on the Utopia Stage to fuel the hype for Impericon Festival in just under three weeks—and it worked perfectly. Even though it was still early afternoon, the crowd was already itching for the first pits. Bloodywood followed up on the Mandora Stage with Indian nu-metal, while Hollywood Undead hit the Utopia Stage at the same time—meaning headbanging and pure partying were the order of the day at both stages. Things then got deeply nostalgic during Breaking Benjamin, with Phobia tracks like "The Diary Of Jane"...

The Offspring had the honor of playing the epic sunset slot that day, and the fans on-site took full advantage, crowdsurfing in droves into the golden hour. Maybe you even found some leftover confetti in your tent while packing up the next morning?

As a freshly hyped newcomer act from the UK, President were definitely a must-see for most people this year—and their show was absolutely worth it. The same went for the summery pop-punk vibes of The Story So Far right after. With that, it was already time for Iron Maiden, who delivered an absolutely legendary performance just as they've been doing on the rest of their current tour. The crowd sang along at the top of their lungs—and it was no different for Sabaton, the final headliner of the day. The Swedes delivered a historically epic conclusion to the day with plenty of fire and anthems tailored for the Ring, which always work a million times better fueled by the live energy of the band and crowd than straight from the record.
