The former Sum 41 frontman isn’t done with their songs just yet; in the future, an acoustic album featuring Sum 41 tracks may become a reality.

Although Deryck Whibley (ex–Sum 41) didn’t share any concrete plans in his interview with Rock Sound, he clearly has plenty of ideas. Sum 41 may have broken up, but the singer isn’t opposed to a future acoustic tour featuring their songs. In fact, he’s already recorded an entire album:

“I'd like to do an acoustic tour of Sum 41 songs. I have an acoustic record that I recorded and it is done - of Sum 41 songs. That may come out sometime soon. But again, there's no plans for any of that."

And it certainly doesn’t seem like he’s done with music in general, as he explains:

“I play guitar every day. I write new music every day, and I have a stockpile of songs, of music that are just kind of sitting there. Eventually I'm going to want to do some music. I don't know when that is, but yeah, I'm sure I'll do something again with music, eventually."
