Last week, the official German album charts once again showed which rock and metal acts are hot right now. Almost at the very top: mgk with his new album Lost Americana at No. 2, followed by Lord of the Lost with their brand-new OPVS Noir Vol. 1 at No. 3. Babymetal land at No. 7 with their billboard breakthrough record Metal Forth. Still in the charts as well: Linkin Park’s From Zero at No. 10 – and that album has already been out for almost a year now.

A similar picture shows up in the Rock and Metal charts, where all four bands are ranked even higher. mgk is leading at No. 1, Babymetal have climbed to No. 3. Linkin Park show up three times here, not only with From Zero, but also with their classics Meteora and Hybrid Theory, which got a boost from the comeback. Joining them are acts like Halestorm with Everest and Alice Cooper with The Revenge Of Alice Cooper.
