Meet Artio: Where Alternative Rock Meets Electronica

Artio have been active since 2018, delivering self-produced alternative music inspired by artists like Twenty One Pilots, PVRIS, and Skrillex. Drummer Ieuan Jones takes on the role of producer, while Rae Brazill leads on vocals and lyrics. They're joined by Rob Arkle on lead guitar and Jai Akhurst on rhythm guitar.

Their first breakthrough came in 2021 when they signed with Slam Dunk Records and released their Pyrokid EP, which earned praise from established outlets like BBC Radio 1, Kerrang, Rock Sound, and many more. But the band truly exploded on TikTok thanks to their song “Product Of My Own Design”, which struck a deep chord within the LGBTQIA+ community. Artio have continued that energy with their latest album Babyface. Once again, the emotional lyrics focus on growth, change, transition, and evolution - perfect for anyone ready to break toxic cycles and become their true self.

Cover Project Celebrates the Anniversary of Twenty One Pilots’ "Blurryface"

A true dream project for any Twenty One Pilots fan – but especially for Artio, who draw a lot of inspiration from TOP’s music. The band’s iconic 2015 album Blurryface is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year and has been honored with a tribute album. All fourteen tracks were covered by different artists, and Artio took on “Hometown”!

Here’s what the band shared on Instagram about the opportunity:

"We are so honoured, excited and proud. This band wouldn’t exist without Twenty One Pilots. Thank you, Rocksound. Thank you @tylerrjoseph and @joshuadun for letting us be a part of the celebration of your work."

The tribute album is titled Blurryface Reborn and also features contributions from artists like Bambie Thug and As It Is – Artio will be supporting the latter later this year on their Never Happy Ever Aftour.

Artio at Download 2025!
